Choose the protection area
These are common ways to discuss scope, not fixed packages. Your estimate identifies the exact panels, film and preparation required for your vehicle.
Choose specific high-impact or high-contact zones such as the front bumper, mirror caps, door cups, door edges or rocker panels.
Commonly requested coverage can include the bumper, hood, front fenders and mirrors, subject to the written scope.
Broader panel coverage for owners who want protection beyond the front of the vehicle. Inspection and scheduling are required.
Lower-side protection for areas exposed to sand, road debris and tire spray.
Small high-contact zones can be included after the vehicle and paint condition are checked.
Ask whether these areas are suitable for the selected film and your vehicle.

Material and warranty in writing
Automotive PPF is a transparent thermoplastic polyurethane film installed as a sacrificial layer over selected painted panels. Depending on the chosen series, it may use a gloss or matte finish and a heat-activated self-healing top coat for light surface marks.
The estimate identifies the brand and series, thickness, finish, included panels, preparation, edge strategy, expected timing and the manufacturer or installer warranty terms that apply. We do not substitute a universal lifespan or warranty promise for the written product terms.

PPF questions
PPF cost depends on vehicle size, panel condition, coverage area, film selected and any removal or preparation required. We provide a vehicle-specific written estimate after confirming the scope.
“Clear bra” is a common term for transparent paint protection film, especially on front-impact areas. The exact panels can range from targeted front coverage to broader vehicle protection.
Timing depends on coverage, vehicle condition, film availability and the shop schedule. We confirm expected timing before the appointment and do not promise same-day completion for every PPF job.
If you are comparing XPEL with another film, include the preferred product in your request. We confirm current brand, product and warranty availability in writing before installation.
Research before the estimate
